Artist grant for the year 2021

I am happy and honored to inform that I was awarded with artist grant for the year 2021 by Taike – Arts Promotion Centre Finland. Contemplation, researching, training, projects and much more ahead!

Grant from Taike

Like so many other artist’s calendar mine got empty too because of the current state of affairs. Luckily fast forward action and application round from Taike – Arts Promotion Centre Finland was there to help. I was awarded a little grant to keep on going and survive the hit.

Projet K

Projet K is a project with a French Company Corps In Situ, Choreographers Jennifer Gohier and Gregory Beaumont. Performance will be a duet I’ll dance with Aurore Giaccio. Thematic base is derived from martial arts especially from Karate. Project is created in many residencies in Finland, France and Luxembourg. http://www.corpsinsitu.com/projet-k/

Duet Physical with Nahoko Kinoshita

Short duet with Oboe player Nahoko Kinoshita will be created in co-operation with choreographer Terhi Kuokkanen/Off/Balance contemporary dance company. It will be performed as a part of Symphony on the Move – week in Jyväskylä May 2019.
